May 31st: I will be changing this soon, with updates! Check back soon.

***If you vote on my poll and on my car, leave a message and I'll make sure I vote on your car and poll as well. Thanks!***

To start, I went with a K&N Typhoon intake. As youll see later, I ditched it. But it was a great piece. Went in real easy. I sold it on ebay. But here is a few pictures of the intake installed.

Next I bought Sylvania SilverStar head lamp bulbs. Not a huge difference, but definitely better than stock.
Vibrant front and rear strut tower braces. I felt a tiny bit of difference, but they will be more noticeable once I lower (with springs and struts built for lowering) and get a rear sway bar in. Here is a picture of the front with my current intake set up. The front one is rubbing a little on the hood, I plan on borrowing my friends dremel and fixing that shortly.

I installed an Autometer Sport-Comp voltmeter in the center console, forward of the cup holders. Great investment. These parts (all from Autometer) are excellent quality. Dont waste your money on cheap stuff. I bought and APC voltmeter and that was the worst piece of junk Ive ever bought. I also put in a switch for it where the lighter is by the steering wheel. That works out great. Here are some pictures.

I neglected to mention I changed over to Mobil One Full Synthetic oil on my third oil change with the car. I still change it every 3,000 miles. Im not sure if it made and difference performance wise, but I plan on keeping this car for a long time, so it cant hurt for the long haul.

Alpine head unit took about six months to install. Not that I didnt know what I was doing. It was a lack of time and never having all that I need to for installation when ever I got into it. I broke the first dash kit and just hooked it up to run it. I had it wired into a switch and had to manually turn it off and on. There is also very little room behind the radio (all records I found on installing that deck said that it wouldnt fit) but I ripped out some plastic and it fit fine. The second dash kit I loved over the first one, its contoured to the dash and looks almost factory. It is also wired into the wiper fuse in the fuse box. That made me happy that it was all done. All wiring is run for a sub, so I dont need to take it apart every again! (Though I had it apart so many times its a piece of cake for me!)

Check out my painting skills! All right, it actually wasn't that hard. Give it a try sometime. I just wanted a flat black valve cover. I think it came out great. I knicked it just a tiny bit when I reinstalled it. That made me just a little angry, but I wasn't doing the whole thing over again. All I have to say for a tip is take the time to prep it right. I also painted my upper and lower RKsport motormounts to make them less noticible. Those came out good too.

Sitting at my parents house is a stock head for my car. Along with a stock TB and intake manifold. Those will be worked on and completed within a year or so. I'm not sure if I want to build the head for boost, or for N/A. I will boost down the road. I don't want to do two head jobs. I'd rather do one and save myself the money. The TB I'll get bored and a new butterfly installed soon. I'm also going to see if I can improve on the stock intake manifold for a smoother air flow. If I screw it up, it was cheap.

New wheels, yay! Nothing extreme, I want to stick with the low key look. 16" Milli Miglia HT-3's in a gunmetal finish. Still sporting the horrible Goodyear RS-A's, but there really isn't anything wrong with them. I can't justify tosing them for sport tires. That would be a waste. I use my stock rims for winter with some meaty rubbers. The car does real well in the snow. The off set of these wheels push my tires right to the edge of my wheel wells. I like that look. Unfortuately I lightly curbed one wheel. Oh well, I was thinking down the road to have them powder coated gloss black. Maybe I'll get that wheel fixed when I have that done. On to pictures!

Windows tinted. I could only do 35% on just the rear three windows. Damn state law! Oh well. Big improvement on the apperence and on light coming in. Here are some before and after pictures.

The paint on the back side of my front emblem is peeling off. I am either going to replace with a c/f emblem or pull it off and re-paint it different than stock. You can see by the picture what I mean.

When I bought the car, it didn't have power door locks. So I had a friend of mine install a Viper kit so I could have those and a remote start. I only have an automatic because I always get in trouble with a manual car, no matter how slow it it is. The best part about the kit is the remote tells me whether the signal hit the car or not. No wondering if it actually started the car or locked/unlocked it. Awesome investment!

I have a temp sub system in my car at the moment. Kenwood amp and Rockford Fosgate sub. Does what it needs to for now. The box is way bigger than what I will be putting in there. I have a Kicker Solo-Baric L5 10" bridged and powered by a Kenwood 800 watt amp. It slams pretty hard, in my last car (which was new when I bought it) the battery light came on at 13,000 miles! That's why the voltmeter is in there. To let me know when I need to back off the volume.

Currently I have yet to install:
(and waiting to recieve)
Light weight stock size alt pulley (awaiting installation)
APC M3 mirrors, to be painted silver (on order)
00-02 Sunfire side skirts, to be painted silver (on order)

Just tried installing the alternator pulley, DOESN'T FIT! Damn was that a waste of time. I'm going to try and get it replaced. It was from a GP on the JBO. Or I'll try moddifing it myself. It is only off by a hair, but that's enough to not let it go on the alternator. **sigh**

Just found a used C/F bezel for the rear of the car with a set of 00-02 tail lamps. On order! I've bought too much this year, though everything has been a great deal. I really have a sickness...

Just got my M3 mirrors today. Hope to have them painted then installed within 2 weeks:)

Alternator pulley has been sent out to be re-drilled. Hopefully it will come back before I go to the track. There will be a delay on painting the mirrors, I'd rather do that and the skirts at the same time. Still waiting on the skirts, lamps and c/f bezel...

Jobs on the burner at the moment:
1. M3 mirrors. Waiting for paint and new glass for the mirrors
2. Aluminum alternator pulley install
3. c/f bezel and 00-02 Cavalier lamps install
4. Prep and paint radio bezel
5. LED's in truck for better lighting

More than likely this will all be done in the spring. It's becoming to cold to bother right now. I'm hopefully going to piece together a lowering kit over the winter as well. (Tein H-Tech's w/KYB AGX's)

I have h-techs! I got those in place of the skirts I had on order forever. But no struts, maybe I'll put those springs on without struts... But I don't really want to do the job twice. Radio bezel is a work in progress. Bondo is in and ruffed up, now I'm sanding the rest to smooth out the texture. then I'll finish up with fine grit sandpaper. I happy with the progress so far:)

Got the bezel on!!! I didn't do the outters though. And I may not. I like the way it looks currently.

Xmas was good to my car and I. Polk speakers front and rear and the Actron CP9175 OBDII scan tool. Yay! And I'll be taking the vibrant front strut tower brace off my car. Selling it and picking up the DCsports one to replace it.

I have the AEM cai on order! I'll get that next week. If I have a good weekend (weather wise) that will be going in. Same with the 00-02 outter tail lamps. I also have a Sunfire guage cluster to put in, plug and play install. Just the whole thing is lit up red and the speedo and tach are larger than the Cavalier cluster. I've also picked up '02 Z24 skirts for ZERO! I'll be getting them paint matched for, ZERO!

hey man nice car so far. love it that you're keeping it sleeper. what kind of paint did you use for the engine cover, looks a nice black.. it's heat resistant am guessing. as well, your rims look different than mine, they look a little gunfire metal. let me know if you did anything with those and check out my cavi!
