CMC Viking Challenge III Autocross
On August 8th, 2004 I participated in my first autoX. It was a whole lot of fun and there were 66 cars entered in it. I finished 33rd overall, and 2nd in the STS Novice class. Not bad for my first time ever I thought. I'll be doing this again on August 22nd in Windham, ME. I think I'm hooked.

My 3rd Run (7MB Movie)
UPDATE
So I had an opportunity to run in another Autocross in Old Orchard Beach, it was the last run of the season, I didn't do very well, and actually didn't race the last two runs of the day, mainly because I managed to spin my little FWD'er in a total 360. The tires are shot, so that probably lead to some of it, though I'm sure there was probably other reasons. I'm still deciding whether or not I'm going to run it in the upcoming '05 season.
June 19th, 2005 Augusta Civic Center CMC Autocross
This was alot of fun, this was the first time I have had a chance to really push the new SVT suspension and Eibach sway bars. I have to say I was extremely impressed with the results. Very little understeer, and it corners quite well, I couldn't be happier on that end of things. However, the camber on the front wheels is still an issue for me, as I'm still chewing up tires quickly in the front, the rear seems to be squared away for now, but the front needs some help. I've got one SPC camber plate, I need to get the other and then take care of this crazy problem. I only have one picture from this one, I'm hoping to have a video soon enough.

April 29th and 30th, 2006 CMC Storyland Fantasy Autocross
Ahhh the first autocross of the new season. The sun was out (just ask my burnt head) and the sweet sound of cars at high RPM could be heard. Not much has changed with the car this year, I've got SPC adjustable camber plates on the front now, more to fix problems than for performance. I've got F2 adjustable sway bar end links, and I've also got P-51 rear shock shims. All of this is supposed to help the handling and durability of the car's suspension. I'm also running some used Kumho Ecsta 712's in 195/50/15 this year, they aren't great, but they were free, and I'm tired of buying new 17" tires every summer. So this is a great fit.
