UPDATE: I got another 97 ranger, its pretty stock for now but not for to long, go check it out.
WELL ITS TO BAD I SOLD THE TRUCK, but im gonna buy an 2007 FX4 level 2 now and build that so i will have pics up when i git the thing. My 97 Ranger has a small block,gears and 33s.

The engine is a 1965 289HiPo from a mustang. It is boared .040 over, full roller rockers. The heads have been ported and they have stainless oversize valves. It has JE flat top pistons and forged 289 rods with ARP rod bolts. It also has a Melling high volume oil pump. Going down the road it runs at about 70lbs. The radiator is a North Western custom built for the truck. It also has an electric fan. The tranny is a C-6 with a B&M shift kit. Which goes through a shortened F-150 drive line to a Ford 8.8 rear end with a Detroit Locker.

Just put 2in more lift on it and ordered long travel Bilstein 7100 reservior shocks with 12in travel.So now I have to build new coil buckets and a shock hoop.It should be a nice setup. I will get pics up when its done.

The gears are made by Percision Gear. The ratio is 4.56 so that this truck will crawl up a wall.soon i hope to have a Dana44 with an ARB air locker in the front.

My new R6 chillin with my car, now have a full exhaust on the R6 and it put down on the dyno 119RWHP w/o being tuned.

nice truck I love the motor swap. i got a 01' ranger edge. its only stock 3.0 motor with a power adder cone filter. dangeranger08

Hey I have about the same truck you have, but it's a '96, and not nearly as modified as yours. I was wonderin were you got that brush guard and how much it was, leem know, thanx bro.
