This is my dads car. He paided $3,500 for it. It wasn't running at the time, but the timing was off by a little, and that is all it need to get it running.
The major problem was that the transmission was slipping in first gear. The transmission is now fixed and is running in top shape. The new headliner turned out nice, but it was a pain in the neck to put in. The origional headliner was weathered and had rats nests in it (typical). The primer is now on, and has been sanded. Which now shows a spot I missed. Looks like a hot rod already. I will try to get pictures of the primed Buick soon. Will should have the car painted by the end of April.
This is his car before. After The interior gone The interior back in.
Taking the paint off
Primer This is what I hope it will look like.

Great car, looks awesome. The first time I seen one of these I thought it was cool but got to hating it real soon. When I was about 11 I got in some troble and got sent to live with my uncle who had about 6 or 7 of these. I think it was my second day there when my uncle told me that everyday after school I had to go in the garage and hand sand one of the buicks untill he thought it was ready to prime. It seemed like it took forever. However after the car was finished I found out just how much I liked that car. I was more then willing to help with the next one.
