This will be my engine swap page. I will be updating over the next while (long while), my engine swap.

I will be removing my old 22RE, although I love the reliability of it, and installing a 1995 Chev 4.3L Vortec engine. I bought a crashed Blazer a few weeks ago for $300. I will be using a bell housing adapter so I can use the Toyota 5 speed. I would use the auto that came with it, but I prefer manual. All I have done so far is start removing the trany, along with a few other random parts I will be selling to get my $300 back and more to pay for the adapters and etc. This whole process is going to take me a while because I am planning to rebuild the engine while it is out. Anyway, here is a picture of my new engine.

This has been put on hold. I need a frame before an engine! I may end up selling this engine now for other parts. But we'll see. I already have the engine, wiring and computer pulled, and the rest of the truck is scrapped.
