[just bought a supercoupe block, and forged crank to start my shortblock for a twin turbo setup]

here are my thoughts on the new motor setup;

shortblock;
-machined supercoupe block 20over
-machined supercoupe crank 10under
-new clevite main and cam bearings
-eagle forged 6.090" H beam rods
-ross custom dished forged pistons (approx 14cc's)
-new gapless rings
-custom steel main girdle/arp stud combo
-arp 01+ v6 head studs, with block tapping for new lenght

heads;

-machined/ported 99-04 v6 spi heads
--1.7 comp camps pro magnum stud mounted rockers
--1.55" (153cfm) exhaust, and 1.94" (258cfm) intake stainless steel vavles
--new valve guides and seals
--new springs

cam;

-still thinking? any sugguestions

MAC Cold Air Fenderwell Induction System

Denso Iridium - IT20 spark plugs (heat range cooler)

MSD 8.5 superconductor spark plug wires

Optima - yellow-top battery

superchips 5 position flip chip (4 custom programs/+15HP/+22ft/lbs)
[cooling fan at lower temperature, turn off the rear 02 sensors, 4r70w to shift firmer at wide open throttle, and part throttle. raised 4r70w transmission shift points, advanced timing for more power using 93 octane, improved air/fuel ratio at wide open throttle, raised rev limiter, removed speed limiter, smog and egr delete.]

degrease, port and polish intakes (upper/lower)
half shaft/polish throttle body - spare purchased

install steeda x2 balljoints
install steeda bumpsteer kit
install 17" gt take-offs - purchased
install bfgoodrich kdws 245/45/17's
install Maximum Motorsports Aluminum Rack Bushings - purchased
redo front end suspension geometry and re-align.

just started.... more to come for this daily driver!

Thanks man. I will try and get some pics up. I dont have a camera here but if my family comes to visit I will defenitly get some up. I like the Mustang too, that was going to be my first car but I got a 99 tahoe for a steal so I went with that.

Hi! Love the stang. I read the comment you left on my page, just wanted to tell you that my car is a 3.9L. Some of them were made w/ a 3.9L instead of 3.8L in 2004. It only has 3 more HP than the 3.8L but every little bit helps :-)
