This is my second 1975 Riviera GS (own a 73 Riviera as well)
The first one I bought back in 1984 and sold it a year later (regrets!!!!!!).
Last year I found and bought another one here in the Netherlands.
From the approx. 17.000 built that year only 3.100 came with the GS option, so already pretty rare in the USA.
It has the Buick 455cui engine with a TH400 transmission.Due to emissionlaws this 455cui was brought back to 205HP.... so with that weight it 's not a very fast car ....... but still big and strong and that's why his nick is "The Whale"
No mods!!!!!!! (except LPG). Trying to get/stay as close as the vehicle left Flint, MI almost 30 years ago.
Many Riviera-enthusiasts dislike this model, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the best Buick ever made (my first 75 Riviera is still driving around here as well).
The Riviera got a repaint last year; back to the original color: Honey Gold Irid.:
