TranTla's 1998 Eagle Talon

It is beauty and the beast. Beauty when parked and beast on the roads. When I first got her, she was bland, dirty, and in much needed of attention. With a toothbrush and some oil eater degreaser I gave her some love. It took a couple of days to give her a bath in the engine bay and a month for the full detailing but well worth it. A few shots of matching Red and VHT silver caliper paint and with a lil polishing here and there and she was born again. Along with the cosmetic engine details, I added a few goodies to spice it up. A lot of love was given to this ride and therefore I am happy to say that this is one lover that always puts a big grin on my face without me feeling guilty! (or getting in trouble with my wife!!)

TranTla's 1998 Eagle Talon This is the "Before" engine bay pic. Very dirty and bland.

TranTla's 1998 Eagle TalonIn love!! This is the "After" engine bay pics. Dedicated lots of time.

This is the Magnaflow muffler. Looks like a stock muffler which is what I was after. Does not sound as quiet as stock. Ferrocious Sound! I shine it once a week so that the insides of the twin tips stay shiny chrome.
I also added two resonators to quiet it down some.TranTla's 1998 Eagle Talon

Another shot of my baby. Also I replaced the long 33" stock antenna with this 7" one. I have no lost in reception though it being so short. It Solid metal and the color is Black Chrome. I wanted something better than the S2000 antenna most people get.
TranTla's 1998 Eagle Talon I bought some Halo Projector headlamps. Many say that light output sucks but boy were they wrong. These things really shine some light.

This part below was long overdo. I love the Stock look and never really liked the IC pipes that are sold by vendors so I had a pipe custom made to match the stock one. Work of art! This completes for an all metal IC pipe setup. This is a True Stock duplicate to the letter. Left picture is the Stock IC Hose where it sits in the engine bay and the right picture is the Stainless Steel duplicate comparison. This is One of a kind. Its painted to match the color scheme of my engine bay. Its 60mm to match my 1G TB.

I also redid the brakes. I love how they came out. Really clean and it matches the rims and car.

Good work on your documentation of your Talon build.. And I'm not suprised that you had to swap out the engine. Also, the engine bay looked SWEET!
