BACKGROUND

I got this car for free from a close friend of mine a few months ago. The car had a broken passenger rear window that had been broken by some crazed fling of my buddy. She ripped off the side view mirror and threw it through the rear window. Some people eh. The car ran and still runs great but it had some body damage, the stereo wasn't that great and, well, it just didn't look as cool as i wanted for sure.

I obtained the car and i started work on it. Check out the further pages to see the ongoing progress.

This is my first car and i've always wanted to work on cars and just make whatever i owned, my own. I've done a small amount of custom work before but nothing on cars really (See my BIKE PAGE for a good example).

Amazing how flat black gives any vehicle attitude.

I see you found the Euro number plate recess on the boot lid when you took off the black panel. Dont know if you have looked at vauxhall astra mk2's or GTE's on google and see what comes up, over here in the UK there are is a big following in modding Vauxhall Astras or Opel Kadetts which the Le Mans is a copy of. We have so many Opel & Vauxhall aftermarket companies for bodykits and performance parts. If look at the Opel Kadetts in cardomain you'll see what I mean.
