1990 Nissan 240sx - Fastback "TwoForty"

TwoForty's 1990 Nissan 240SX

i bought her about 8 months ago. i kinda just got lucky finding the car. i had always wanted a 240sx but never thought i would find a clean one in good condition. well thats where i got lucky because a friend of a friend didnt know what he had on his hands and sold me my car for 900 bucks. i got told about the car being for sale and within the hour it was in my name. i couldnt pass it up!

so anyway, i had all intentions on a SR swap and the whole drifting scene but things change. after i had a chance to really drive my car i fell in love with its handling and overall feel. so i drove the car all summer and now its time for my swap.

i decided on a boosted KA24DE instead of a SR. the determining factor was a good deal on a lower mileage s13 dohc engine. im not looking for huge numbers something in the area of 250 - 275 hp will suffice for the time being. im looking for a fun sleeper style car that is reliable enough for a daily driver. since everybody seems to love 240s now i will blend in easily

ive collected all the parts for the swap the only thing im looking for is the PS lines and resevior. it sucks that alot of people are out there looking for the same thing because of the SR swaps in 89 and 90 s13s.

im probably not going to actually boost it until later this year like september-ish. im trying to make a "starter" kit with a new 14b turbo that my friend is willing mto give me if i need it! so ill be posting more about this soon and of course asking a million questions AFTER I SEARCH

as for suspension i plan on going with a KYB AGX and eibach springs combo. i dont really need adjustability plus ive heard really good things about this combo. i want to buy the master bushing kit from energy suspension.

as much as i hate the stock wheels i think im just going to throw some stickier tires on for the time being unless i have traction issues which i dont think i will. its going to help me car fly under the radar.

Nice front lip, hard to find.... any updates? check out my 240, I use the ssautchrome gen3 manifold no problem plus any sr20 down pipe will mount right up if you go bottom mount turbo.

O yeah....check out turbo240.com's gt32 turbo...it is cheap and looks like a pretty nice turbo.

Nice car. you should look into doing a blow-through MAFS setup on your coldpipe so you can run the atmospheric BOV. And I would defiantley go with a safc rather than a FMU and just get it tuned, then you know u have a nice A/F ratio always. Keep up the good work
