This is my new transmission from the transmission center I have listed in my performance links. It is a "Raptor 4L60E" with the torque drive upgrade to handle 600hp. The torque converter has a 3000 stall and is rated to 700hp. I have had many problems with my previous transmission. I would not recomend buying any form of an AAMCO transmission as their product only lasted about 6k for me and they did not honor their "Lifetime Warranty". They gave me the go around for over 8 months. I replaced over $3000 dollars in parts besides the transmission because of their recomendations. Finally I got tired of their crap and bought this one and guess what. It lasted 3 months before it craped the bag on the stock motor. I had them fix it and by that time I had the 383 in there. Yeah it lasted 2 trips down the track. Raptor trannies are not nearly as good as what the companies rate as my car is only pushing 430 FWHP! No nitrous yet. So I sent this tranny off to Frank at CPT for the new "Pro Race" rebuild and a fresh Vigilantee 3600 stall Torque Converter. So far so good. I haven't run it yet in the past year but the Spring of 08 will tell what she can handle.
