qwik50's 1989 Ford MustangThis is a crappy pic of my 89 GT alongside my 2003 Ranger XLT. I purchased the ole stang in 1992 and was beat on for 9 years.

qwik50's 1989 Ford Mustang A couple better quality pics of the old stang. This was before the Steeda suspension. (notice the rear-end sag. No one wants rear-end sag nor do they want to look at it! And, I could almost crawl under the front end)

qwik50's 1989 Ford Mustang A pic of the hatch and the system. It isn't much, but it gets the job done.

qwik50's 1989 Ford Mustang Here is a pic of my wheel selection. Steeda's with a set of Kuhmo tires ready to go on once I get the 5 lug conversion done (parts sitting in the garage...waiting).

qwik50's 1989 Ford Mustang Engine revisited.

qwik50's 1989 Ford Mustang A pic from the front. Loving the crystal clear lenses. Need fogs to match, though. Nice lowered stance with the Steeda suspension. Need to get a pic of it on the road...need to get those rims and tires on too...hmmmm.

qwik50's 1989 Ford Mustang Body work has begun, but it's slow going. Fortunatly, there is not too much body work to deal with...just a couple small dings here and there. The factory paint had gotten terrible...I figured primer grey would look better than the old paint. (Notice the lack of rear-end sag...front is a couple inches closer to the ground...nice leveled look. Big difference from the old 150k mile setup.)
