This is my 1990 Mustang. When I got the car it was a 4 banger. I drove it like that for three years and then it was time to drop to 5.0 in. The car weights 3000 with less than a half tank of gas and no spare or jack and without me in it. If you go to the next page it now has a 351W in it.
This is why I have a 4" cowl hood
The cowl hood is from Hardwood
When I put the 5.0 in I also put a C6 trans with a TCI 2800 stall converter and a TCI deep trans pan and an 8.8. The 8.8 has strange 31 spline axles with C-clip eliminators and Richmond 3.73 gears with a Richmond spool and a Granatelli Rear end support.
I have BBK Equal length shorty with a 2.5 Flowmaster and dumps.
I have manual steering rack from a 79 Mustang and I made my own steering shaft eliminating the rag joint. The U Joint size is 3/4 Bore 9/16x26 Spline
The short block is out of an 88 Mustang. I have 68 302 4V heads with 49cc chambers and 1.94 / 1.60 valve. Cam Dynamics Roller Rockers. Harden pushrods. Luntia Cam 221/232@50 .526/.530 lift with 111 lobe sepration and 106 center line. Moroso 8mm spark plug wires Cobra Intake with a 750 Double pumper. MSD 6AL Ignition. Granatelli aluminum radiator with a Proform electric fan.
Here is my Lakewood Driveahsft saftey loop.
I made a cut holder where the stock shift was.
I just installed my new Diamond cut headlights. They look awesome.
