Exterior Styling
The door handles come out with 1 bolt after removing the door panel. After it's out you can remove the push bars that run to the latch. I did all but the driver's door b/c i haven't got the solenoid kit & alarm yet. 
Had the plate made up, even had the right curve in to make it fit just right. We ground slots around the edge for the weld to grab.
Quick spot welds are the way to go. Keeps the heat down and doesn't take any time at all. 
A quick grind and it's ready for some primer. Later i got a coat of filler on there to seal out the water.
