Here is my brand new MTI air box modification. As you can see it looks a helluva lot better than the factory setup and alot less restrictive as well. The MTI lid doesnt have a place for the air hose on your air box if you have a 2001-2002 SS so you you have to purchase another filter to go in the end of that or either fabricate something into the airbox

And finally the finished product I added a side label that matches my fender labels color and all to the clear MTI air box which looks quite HOT!

In a recent article in the May 2004 edition of GM High-Tech Performance they ran tests on 6 diff aftermarket lids and I bought the best rated one. I opted for the clear lid but MTI offers black and carbon fiber as well, heres an out take of that article. http://www.motorsporttech.com/press/gmhtp_may2004_02.html

This is the K&N filter for the end of the air hose that used to plug into the side of the original factory air box. Just in case others are looking for this its model number 62-1030 through K&N and any parts shop can pull it up for you by that, It works great looks good and fits perfect.

Here below is the before and after pictures of my factory to Magnaflow exhaust swap! HUGE difference!!

I decided to put the center mount exhaust onto my Magnaflow catback system. Looks ALOT better than the huge pipes that hung too low with the system. Soundwise it sounds actually a little better and performance wise doesnt seem to make any difference. This was the only option I didnt put on mine from SLP when I ordered it becauseit was a thousand dollar option for a 10 hp bump. I found one for alot cheaper price.

I ordered the Bilstein suspension package on this car from the factory. However, when I got it, it seems to be squatting in the rear and popped up some in the front. This really became noticeable when I added my system to the car making it squat so bad it looked as if it was popping a wheelie haha Which sucked so I bought Eibach lowering springs and only installed the front springs, removing the Bilstein springs and it evened it out perfectly and made the car look even sleeker than it already did.

I have also switched out the lighting and opted to go with an HID and high power capacity harness, instead of the color everyone has (annoying blue)I chose arctic purple which really looks hot against the silver. Lit up shown below.

This is my most recent addition, Euro clears for the front turn signal markers. I ordered multiple led replacement bulbs to take the place of the filament bulbs. These will burn alot brighter and really make the euro clears standout.

I recently changed the bulbs in all of my corner markers and turn signals to L.E.D's which look awesome in the euroclear housings. I just replaced the back cornermarkers to euroclear as well , here's how they look

This is just a front shot with them installed at night. The pic doesnt pick it up well but they look even better at night.
