Interior modifications include new carpet, polished trim rings for the gauges, power leather seats from a 2001, Monsoon factory AM-FM/CD (mounted so it looks stock), new headliner and T-Top seals, power windows and mirrors, new 4th Gen 6-speed console, two wide-band O2 sensors (one in each exhaust bank) with each one tied to an LED readout and and each one tied into the ECM for data logging, SLP/Hurst shifter with button for my newly-installed Line Lock, and a leather parking brake handle.

Here's some interior pix, including one before I did the 4th Gen console conversion (please don't mind the shift knob being turned backwards, that's been corrected). Note how I handled the power mirror and power windows switches:

vernw's 1991 Pontiac Firebird This is what the interior looked like with a brand new GM 3rd Gen console in it.

vernw's 1991 Pontiac FirebirdAnd here's how it looks with the new 4th Gen console and upgraded '02 Monsoon stereo system.

vernw's 1991 Pontiac FirebirdHere's a shot showing both the power mirror and power windows switches. I had to find a 4th Gen mirror switch, convert the wiring harness to operate it, and then custom fabricate the plate and mounting for all of these switches using pieces cut out from an old broken console (so they would be the same color and texture as the rest of the console). I little work with a Dremel tool, and voila!

vernw's 1991 Pontiac FirebirdThis was actually a fairly easy conversion, and I tried to keep everything as clean as I could. Lost my ashtray in the center console, but "Oh, well" (still got my window!!!)

vernw's 1991 Pontiac FirebirdNotice how when the ashtray door is closed, you can't even see the power window switches. I just re-used the factory 3rd Gen style switches for this.

Need to get some pix of the fog light/rear defroster/hatch pop switch panel to show the new mods on there, Basically I have added an LED light to illuminate one of non-data logged WB O2 sensor LED panel, added a switch to control my lighted dice, and added another LED that I'm tieing into the computer to light up when ever it's detecting pinging/detonation. Need to get some pix up with shift knob and button that works my Hurst Line Lock.
