I'm just a 54 year old Phat Phart Old Man in the Dallas, TX area who likes muscle cars and just about anything and everything to do with them!
Here's my Baby:
She originally was a 91 WS-6 Firebird Formula with a 5-speed 305 TPI H.O. - but I swapped in a 415HP/520ft-lb 383 Stroker with a ported, coated, and polished LPE Super Ram, coated and polished SLP Tri-Y stainless steel headers, BBK 58mm throttle body, Holley AFPR, SVO 30# injectors, MSD Digital 6+ ignition box, Centerforce Dual Friction clutch kit, Hooker 3" cat back with polished dual split exhaust tips and QTEP electric cut-out, first a TKO Performance high (450 ft-lbs plus) torque World Class T-5 (5-speed) that's now for sale - now I have a new "hardened" T-56 (6-speed), a Ford 9" rear with 4.11 gears, and a relocated MAT sensor. The custom EFI prom work is being done with the help of a friend of mine who is helping me learn this stuff.
Now, as of Spring, 2007, she's been beefed up a bit. Added a MiniRam intake, AFR 195 Eliminator heads, new SLP ceramic coated 1 3/4" headers, dual LC-1 WB sensors, LS1 front brakes, drilled and slotted rotors all around, and the body has been gone over by a GM dealer and totally repainted in the original black color. New 383 specs per DD2k are 529HP/517TQ, still working on the DIY tune before going to the dyno and strip.
The "only" other exterior modifications so far include:
- Spohn sub frame connectors
- Dual Magnaflow High Flow cats
- Hooker 3" cat back and cut-out
- Completely refurbished GTA cross-lace wheels
- BFG Drag Radials on my old rears for "playing" and daily driving
- Mickey Thompson 315/45x16 E.T. Streets for serious "play times"
- Diamond-cut H4 headlights (looking at HID conversions)
- Colgan car bra (not using except for long road trips since new paint job)
- New Moog bushings for the WS6 suspension front sway bar and pan hard bar end links
- New GM fluid reservoirs under the hood
- SLP progressive rate rear coil springs
- Lakewood tubular LCA's
- BMR rod-ends adjustable torque arm
- Hotchkiss strut tower brace
- TDS WonderBar
- Ford 9" 4.10 rear end with disc brakes
- Spohn panhard bar
- Custom made CAI with large K&N air filter (Need to get some pix of that up)
I've intentionally kept the exterior stock looking (a sleeper!) with the exception of the lettering on the power bulge hood - and that will be gone when the re-painting gets done.
Here's some of the engine before upgraded to the MiniRam:
And here's the MiniRam installed...
And here's my updated interior shot before my buttoned T-handle shifter knob for my line lock went on....

And one of the newly beefed up 'Bird in action....
