My 1988 IROC-Z Camaro

-305ci V8 5-Speed Manual
-Around 300hp
-Dual Exhaust with glasspack and split tips

This is what it looked like the day I bought it for $300. Yes, It was driveable.
After about $5,000 it became the car you see at the top of this page. I put in over 100 hours as did my father. We also had a local mechanic help us on some of the more mechanical issues.
The decision of the color and stripes were both influenced by the first generation Camaro's of the 60's and by the appearance of today's Dodge Viper's. I chose to not to put stripes on the roof to give it a more 60's style look but I chose to take the stripes down the whole way to the front bumper to make it look more modern. I also did not put the stock pin striping on the car again or the large Z28 logos on the doors as I thought that dated the car. I'm very proud at how it turned out and the car always turns heads on the street and wins praise from family and friends.
