Well, this is my car. Its a 1979 Plymouyh Caravelle. Its my baby. Its got a 360 in it. I rebuilt the top end of the engine. I put in an Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 600cfm carb, Comp Cams Extreme Energy cam kit(230dur, .480" lift- ya, its lumpy) Accel coil and wires, Champion plugs, Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner. As you can see in the picture, I got shiny chrome wheels. Cragar S/S, 15x7 in the front and 15x8 in the back. I finally found some headers that will work for this car. I have had reason to believe that headers for an F-body would fit my car(Aspen, Volare for those who don't know). So i gave them a try. I got some Hooker Competition series at a hell of a deal and they fit with little comfort. Ground clearance on the drivers header is only about 4-5 inches. Clearance between the bottom tubes on the drivers side and the drag link is about 1 cm. So things are very close but they fit none the less. Only 90 degree spark plug boots are required on the two middle cylinders on the drivers side to clear the header. Just so you all know, F-body headers will work. I also just recently put in a new gear set. I had to get rid of the old gears. When you can go 110kph in 1st gear, you know its time to change, especially when when your engine is more than stock. So i put in a 3.90 Motive gear set with a Spicer posi. It is soooo much better than the god forbid 2.45 gear set. It makes the car so much faster and that makes me happy. Up next, TCI 727 transmission, 3000 stall and edelbrock rpm aluminum heads.
