Here is the finished product...well still lots to do but at least I can drive it now! It's pretty damn quick and sounds wicked. I'm very pleased with how it has turned out and now have over 2,000kms on the conversion with no problems!

Spent the winter doing a little work on the Miata. Installed a top off a 2001 Miata, painted the calipers, new fuel filter, and new (to me) Konig Helium's with Toyo T1-S tires. Here are a few pictures:

Got a ticket for no front plate. Since the car needs all the cold air it can get, my solution was a swinging plate bracket. $10 at Home Depot and the plate is shown at slow speeds or stops but moves up to give the air required at speed.

Well it is January 2007 and I'm doing a few small things to the car in the garage when its not -25C out there. Tonight I installed my new signal intakes and also some Autopal E-Code Headlights and bulbs.

Here is the difference in style:

Two Autopal Lights - Total Cost $30 including shipping:

The light is much brighter and much more white than the sealed beams.

Looks good. I am gathering the parts to do the same thing. Bought a 90 GT (wrecked) that I am tearing down. Plan to purchase the Miata come spring 08. Any help, advice, information, more pictures, etc would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

HEy HEy!!! I love the concept of putting a 302 ford engin in a miata... I`m thinking about making the swap... I would like to have some comment about the driving... I would like to know if you ran into big troubles or situations that took you longer than you thought... Give me some advise!!!!

Thanks a lot!
Have a great day!
