The first Step was finding a decent 5.0L V8 & T5 Transmission. I happened uppon this mostly complete 1988 Mustang GT with only 180,000kms for $600.

Here is the Mustang before it was wrecked in an accident.

Looks good. I am gathering the parts to do the same thing. Bought a 90 GT (wrecked) that I am tearing down. Plan to purchase the Miata come spring 08. Any help, advice, information, more pictures, etc would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

HEy HEy!!! I love the concept of putting a 302 ford engin in a miata... I`m thinking about making the swap... I would like to have some comment about the driving... I would like to know if you ran into big troubles or situations that took you longer than you thought... Give me some advise!!!!

Thanks a lot!
Have a great day!
