This site is of the build up of my 1995 Mazda Miata. I will be installing a 5.0L V8 from a 1988 Mustang GT, T5 tranny, and T-bird 7.5" rear end over the next bit and will update the site as I go.

The car will be 2,400lbs with 250hp & over 300lb ft of torque when it is complete.

Found a 1995 Triple Black Miata in Florida for $2,500. It will need some love and some work but is complete and will serve as a donor car very well.

Above are pictures of it home in my driveway after driving 2,000 miles home to Ontario. I have started the polishing and cleaning in these pictures, including painting the factory wheels.

Looks good. I am gathering the parts to do the same thing. Bought a 90 GT (wrecked) that I am tearing down. Plan to purchase the Miata come spring 08. Any help, advice, information, more pictures, etc would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

HEy HEy!!! I love the concept of putting a 302 ford engin in a miata... I`m thinking about making the swap... I would like to have some comment about the driving... I would like to know if you ran into big troubles or situations that took you longer than you thought... Give me some advise!!!!

Thanks a lot!
Have a great day!
