Hello, My name is John. I hope you all enjoy looking at what I consider to be the ultimate Turismo/Duster. This was my first new car purchased in 1985. It has gone under extensive modifications, and features the rare B&M blower set up.
I like to call it "Lil' Renegade" because everyone I know said I was crazy for doing this!! Here is a summary of some of the modifications: Custom 2 1/4 inch exaust system,including a Thrush HI flow CAT.Required for NYS inspection.. KYB struts, KONI shocks, MP Manual valve body, FM high stall converter 2500 rpm, and a MP 1:22 gear set.
Engine work was a budget rebuild, to beef up the bottom end. This includes TRW forged pistons, HO oil pump, mild cam, bored .020 over. I figured the blower will do most of the work. The engine bay is completely detailed with chrome and powdercoated parts, and also has a custom made air cleaner shaped like the Pentastar. A Weber 2bbl downdraft carb feeds the blower.

CURRENT MODIFICATIONS
11/08 NOTHING NEW THIS YEAR FOR THIS CAR, I WAS WORKING ON GETTING THE DAYTONA AND WHITE DIMOND FINISHED UP, ALSO GOT MY DREAM CAR A 1970 340 DUSTER, SO I HAD SOME FUN WITH THAT THIS SUMMER. GOT IT AT CARLISLE, A REAL SURVIVOR CAR, ALL ORIGINAL NEVER BEEN ALTERED, I WILL POST NEW PHOTOS OF THAT IN THE GARAGE SECTION SOON.
10/07 I HAVE NOT DONE TOO MUCH THIS YEAR. I JUST ADDED A WIDEBAND O2 SENSOR AND THE ADJUSTABLE CAM PULLEY.

CHANGED BLOWER DRIVE PULLEY TO 2.5 INCH FOR A MAX BOOST OF 9PSI AND ADDED A FIXED IDLER OF MY OWN DESIGN, THIS ALLOWS MORE BELT CONTACT TO THE DRIVE PULLEY. A LONGER BELT WAS REQUIRED.
