I'm not usually a fan of Wagons, but that is very beautiful!
check out grandmarq.net sometime...we have a couple guys on there with "waggins".
that site will also help you with any engine mods you plan to do. check out my Merc sometime.

Hallo, in the 1980es, I had a Mercury exactly like yours! It was very nice to drive. Regardless of whether I had the trailer on or not, whether it was winter or summer, ice or snow, the car used the same amount of gas, 2,3 litres/10 kilometers. But the motor was a 455 c inch motor. The only time it didnt behave properly, was when we drove up in the fields, the motor chooked at high altitudes. The parking lots in Sweden were/are not made for cars as big as this one, so I had some touble parking, when I went to work. Once, when we were on vacation with our trailer, a Polar 550, believe it or not, we met a Norwegian registered Colony Park with a Polar 550 behind. The total length of the car and trailer was 13 - 14 meter and at the campingsites, we were received as royalties. I wonder why?
