This is my new 240 I picked up. I bought it as a shell for $300 with everything there, nothing missing but engine and tranny were blown. Right now its at XAT getting a new S14 KA24de from a 98. The engine and 5 speed tranny only have 70k miles on em. Also have tein s/techs all around and silvia brakes all around (11" brakes). Soon to have S14 seats. All this and so far all I have spent is $1700 including all labor. Need work done and live in Tampa or near? Go to XAT racing, Taylor really really knows his shit.

Today I decided to run to Cophers (junkyard) and see what I could find. I happened to find two (count em) 240's. A 91 and a 93. The 93 was a DE and just got pulled in there. First thing I noticed on it was the spoiler, and remembering I dont have one, proceeded to take it. Costs me twenty bucks because it "had a light on it". Also, I noticed the day I bought the car that my taillights were shit, spider cracked big time, so I took the taillights from the 91. Also ganked the sidemarkers I needed to replace the ones that were missing. All in all I made out pretty good, and now I have this stuff dressing up my desk :)

Today I got home from a good day at work and was told I had a message from XAT and to call them back. So I did,Spoke with Adam, who told me I was missing shit. So I ask what shit, to get a reply of a bunch of shit. So I got on the phone with my buddy who lives right down the road and we jetted down there. Turns out I was missing the exhaust manifold, distributor, and throttle body from the S13 DE. I cant use the ones from the S14 DE that Im getting becuase those are OBDII and Im running OBDI. So, being hella pissed, and knowing I have to spend way more money, I decided to tear through my car and see if I could find more shit missing. However upon doing so, I found the right exhaust manifold sitting in the floor of the front passenger seat. Sweet, one less thing. Then I went to the trunk and found a distributor with the top missing, so I ran to Taylor to ask which S chassis it was for and he promptly told me S14. FUCK. So tomorrow Im heading back to Cophers (junkyard) to find that 93 coupe Ive already raped and rape it some more, hopefully the shit I need isnt gone. Im also gonna grab the stock shocks and maybe the cams while Im there and spending money. two words... MONEY PIT.
