New tail lenses.

Haven't updated in a long long time. Been busy with life etc... anyways thought I would put up some updated pics since the majority of the exterior mods are complete. Enjoy.

Well it's been quite a while since my last post and I've been pretty busy with it, but mostly making money to put into it and buying some parts. Since the last round of pictures, I've installed the T5, VLSD, 87+ analog cluster, Recaros, and completed an intercooler install. I don't have any pictures of the car yet with those installed because it's been in storage while my camera has been at home. However, I took some pictures of some of the body goodies that I've gotten so far. These are for the completion of the body work on the car, which is what I'm doing right now. It should be all installed and painted by the end of october.
Thing's I've got--
87+ front end conversion ( Pictured )
TBO Lip ( Pictured )
86 Side Skirts ( Pictured )
AE Rear Fender Flares ( Not Pictured )
Mostly Complete 87 Black Interior ( Semi Pictured )

Things that will be purchased within the next month or two, before paint --
HID Conversion Kit
New Black Carpet
Aftermarket Seats
After the body work is completed, the next project is going to be the suspension.
Current Plans
S13 Rear crossmember conversion
Stance S13 9K/7K Coilovers
Poly Bushings
All the S13 goodies
Z32 Brake Conversion ( possibly line lock for parking brake )
Aftermarket LSD
Custom Wheels

Finally got pics of it after the swap. On my 3rd hood, and yes I know it's maroon, it came off of another car after my car was primered. The battery tie down was a night before track day modification. It's temporary but for some odd reason I'm proud of it, haha. Anyways, try to enjoy. T5 / VLSD / Recaros / Black Interior / 87+ Analog Dash to be installed soon

So today I pull the plugs to figure out why my car was messing up at the track, not firing in boost and whatnot... come to find out, I had a fuel leak between rails and not enough fuel pressure was getting to the passenger side rail... result: 3 dead plugs.

Okay well, the swap is finally complete! Everything is hooked up and the engine runs beautifully. Only thing left to do is get the intercooler piped! The car was finished late at night so I don't have pics of the engine installed yet but I'll have them up shortly... Here's a couple pics of the toys I got in the mail recently, and also the engine before it went in. Thanks to everyone that helped... My step dad, Wayne, Wendell, Brandon, JMC machining. I think I'm one of the few Z31's locally running around so i should have a good time =)

So as the engine swap is a couple weeks away from being complete, I figured I would give one last pre-swap update. At the end of this paragraph I'll give a list of every performance upgrade that will be on the car after the swap is complete. The swap has been held up by little things that have to be purchased like misc o rings, hoses, gaskets etc... Plus the amount of time senior year in high school takes, along with all of the college planning. But it's summer time and that means I need to finish it before I leave for college. This car is going to be pretty mean, atleast to me.
Performance mods @ time of swap:
9:1 Compression NA Pistons
Aggressive .480 cams
Schneider Valve Springs
3" Turbo-Back Exhaust
Team Green Air filter
K&N Valve Cover Breather
Manual Boost Controller
Ebay Intercooler ( 2'x1' Bar/Plate 1020 CFM )
ACT 6 Puck Clutch
SS Springs
Turbo Radiator
TT wheels ( Front: 16 x 7.5 Back 16 x 8.5 )
Ground Kit
Stuff that has been removed from the engine compartment:

Removed upper intake and alot more emissions stuff and cruise control. Drained coolant and pulled the old NA radiator to replace with turbo radiator. Got coolant? It might be somewhere in this bucket... Also made an alternator harness extension to allow the alternator to be moved to the passenger side of the engine.

So I got some people over to help with the rear 5 lug swap, or better called the entire rear suspension/crossmember swap from my parts car to my car. worked on the car for about 12 hours straight with help from a couple friends. it was about midnight that we got everything bolted up to my car, then we realized... oh hey look, the axle is broken on the drivers side! UGH, so that's where the cars sit, both in the air in my driveway, awaiting a new axle. All to put these wheels/springs on the car.

Completed:

Got the Z back from being primered, next is engine swap, then Nighthawk Black Pearl paint

Got my wheels together and cleaned up, two TT rears and three fronts (need to pick the better two of the three)

Bye Bye AC...

Rebuilding... It wants in badly

New Schneider valve springs arrived today, these were the last of the needed parts for the swap, the engine build will begin in a couple days... finally.

Picked up a new (to me) turbo hood today, to replace the rock damaged NA hood that I have. Here are a couple pics.

Became bored today and decided to take out some of my emissions stuff so that my swap goes more smoothly, here's a pic of what was taken out

Carbon Canister, all related hoses, vac ports on intake were capped off, and the FPR Control Selenoid was removed and bypassed.

It's been a while since I've updated but the project has been on a stand still for a while as I have been gathering funds/deciding what route I'm going. Within the next two weeks the car will be sanded down and primered, with a new turbo hood. That is how it will remain until I get enough money to buy it a nice paint job ( black ). The engine will be assembled and ready for the transplant shortly, as of today, I've gathered everthing needed (aside from bearings, doh) to do the swap. Here's a pic of what came today.

After the swap, I plan to get the TT wheels I have powedercoated black, and put them on with some aggressive tires. We'll see what comes next.
