Here are some pics of my 69 VW Type 3. Just some build and show stuff.
Doing carpet install, gotta love it. I made my own templates and cut my bulk carpet patterns then had the wife sew on the binding material. I even got her to help with the install!!!!!
This is assembly just 5 days before the Eureka Springs, AR VW show!!!! We worked 14 hour days for a week straight to get it done.
A couple of shots of the motor. Lots of time and effort in getting this Type 3 motor to look like this. Its a 1776cc, 042 big valve heads, dual weber 34ict carbs, Bosch 009 distributor, Bosch 75amp Type 1 alternator in backwards to fit.
The car at the Eureka Springs VW show. Check out the Rogers, AR Police Dept. New Beetle. This is a real patrol car they use for school programs. Great pic for the photo album.
