This is my 1985 Silverado 4X4. I bought it in May of 2003.

When I bought it, it didn't have any lift or modifications. Shortly after I bought it the motor blew up, the brake system went bad, the ball joints went out and several other things went wrong. Needless to say I got screwed.

As time goes by I have done several mods to it. I have put a six inch lift on it,

I also have put on new Super Swamper Irok tires and Ion Series 138 wheels.

After I bought the wheels I had to put a three inch body lift on to clear the tires. While doing this I took the extra step and raised the gas tanks with some brakets I made at work so the tanks couldn't be seen hanging from under the cab.

I also hooked the two tanks togeather so I could fill them from the same side of the truck at the same time. I did this since none of the gas stations around here have a hose long enough to reach both sides, I get tired of turning the truck around to fill both tanks.

I also made these custom steps to put on my truck at work, they have been powder coated with clear on top. I am planning on painting the bowtie and the lines that are milled in the same color that I paint the truck.

Here is a pic of my motor as of now, but there are several mods in the works for it.

I am planning on getting the body work done and it painted this summer. I am also in the process of doing some custom work on the interior.
It has had both rockers and cab corners replaced.

Along with the right bed side.
I have also replaced the right door with a rust free all electric door.
