Finally!!!!!!!! It's done, the night before my birthday. This was supposed to be done before the Bay Area 02 Swap and Meet show, but my flywheel was very bad and took 3 weeks to come to my house so it didn' get finished on time. But now it is finished and it is great. Any one who wants their 2002 to run better on the high way this is highly recomended.

Ok enough of the talk this is what you have all been waiting for. a breif description on how I did the conversion.

This is when I was about to pull the car in.
This is my garage after we cleaned it out.
The car was finnaly in!
The First thing I did was get a 5 speed transmission from my dad's Friend(He owns a junkyard so he Hooked It Up)
This is a pic of the bottom of the car where the shift linkage is.
Here is the Drive shaft Which you have to cut.
Here is a pic of the 5 speed.
You need to hold the car up with about 4 jack stands and a good jack.
It was very bad luck because as soon as we were going to jack the car up with the racing jack we had bought it just wouldnt get up. So we had to use one of the really tiny jacks that come with a car and put pieces of wood on it to make it go Higher. I would not recomend this.



This was how my muffler washeld up and the metal piece under the tranny is the crossmember which also needs to be cut and redrilled.

Here is a pic of my Dad and Uncle, whos sweet 540i i have on the site pulling the tranny down with the tiny jack and lots of wood.

As you can see it wasnt verry stable and when we got towards the bottom the Tranny fell. OHH well

Pics of the suspension. Eibach springs and bilstien shocks. i recomend it if you want a nice and very sporty ride with out being to harsh. Came with the car Lucky For MEEEE



Here is a pic of the Little Jack I was talking about tiny isnt it.
We were tring to finish the upgrade by the time for the CAr show but just couldnt because of the flywheel. It took 3 Weeks!!!!!!!

The cluch was in really bad shape. So bad that the screws were coming out and scratched into the flywheel. OUCH!
New Schas Pressure plate, Cluch, And throiw out bearing. Thank You Ireland Engineering.
