Page One: The Basics

1991 Super Coupe, bought in excellent condition in 2002 with 86,000 miles. To date, most repairs have been typical of a 13 year old car, nothing major. Most repairs are completed myself (and I'm not much of a mechanic). Super Coupes are a bargain to be had these days: very affordable and the last of a breed. Full sized car, plenty of room, huge trunk, rear wheel drive, independant suspension, auto adjusting shocks, a 5 speed manual...and of course a nice blown 3.8L V6 under the hood providing the power.
Super Coupes aren't the best in any one category, but it does it all very well---and better than most. Speed, handling, comfort, room, decent MPG, all are combined into a single car that is easily liveable for a daily driver but also fun on the road when it's time to perform.

I've made some modifications, but over all they'll be kept to a minimum. For the most part, bolt on's only. The car was in fairly pristine shape when I got it, I want to be able to keep it so. It's an enjoyable daily driver, it won't be used for track. No rattles, this is a very tight car. I want to keep it that way.
Modifications to date:
SCP Intake, Pro-M mass air flow, Flowmaster exhaust (for now), Apten chip and a 5% overdrive pulley on the M90. The tires, while not really a mod, are Pirelli PZero Nero's in 245/50/16. I got the all season M&S model for the 400 tread wear rating. Excellent tires rain or shine, I have not been disappointed.
Modifications to come:
I first hope to re-gear the rear end soon from the stock 2.73's to 3.08's. That will be aggressive enough for me since this is not a track car. A few more bolt on's for later in 2004, including a B&M Ripper Shifter and a few more under the hood bolt on's. Lowering is also in order, but not for a "slammed" look, just to fit the tires better to the wheel wells for the right stance.
