This is my 1999 Camaro Z28 with Trans Am seats and more noticeably American Racing Torque Thrust II 18X10s. It also has a custom painted SS hood. I got this car from my brother-in-law, Jeremy, when he passed away. Most of the work was done on it before he got it, but I am slowly adding more go-fast modifications. The fastest so far down the 1/4 mile track is 12.26 @ 110 mph in North Carolina. In Las Vegas, my best is 12.3 @110 mph, altitude is beating me.

Numbers
12.2 @ 110 mph Fayetteville Motor Speedway, NC with only bolt-ons

This is my brother-in-law, Jeremy, standing next to the car. This car was his baby. He unfortunately, was not able to drive it as much as he wanted to because of Cystic Fibrosis, a debilitating decease that decreases the lung's capacity to hold air making it harder and harder to breath. My wife and I got the car when he passed away due to complications with a lung transplant. His nickname was Private Joker from the movie Full Medal Jacket. We keep the car in his memory and still go to the track as he always did. When we go to the track, we bring his urn with us, just so he can down the track one more time.

In memory of JP...we miss you.

These were taken at Valley of Fire north of Las Vegas. I would have taken more but the battery died. It is a very beautiful a serene place.

These are pics of me going down the track one of the last times in North Carolina before I moved to Las Vegas. These were about a week or two apart and if you notice, the front grill was taken off. I took it off to see if I liked the way it looked.

Here are some pics at a school parking lot in North Carolina. Trying to get a nice background, but it is hard to find one in North Carolina.

Here a pic of the emblem testing it at that position which became the final position. I tried different
positions such as the 1969 Z28 positions, but this looked the best.

When I first got the car in Monterey California, I went on some cruises and this is one on the coast south of Carmel.

This is the car after it had been fixed and repaired after Jeremy had passed away.

A photographer for Jeremy took these pics above when he was in the hospital. When he got out and moved to Monterey, these pics were framed and hung in his room.
