Hey Im a new owner of a VW rabbit and ive just started workin on it. I havent got the pic's on the site yet but im workin on getting them up. I bought this car from a friend of mine for $200. it was a great deal. it has 216 345km on the clock and its needs alot of work. it runs clean yet needs alot of minor work. when i first got it it was covered in segull shit and it was a bitch to get off but with the help of a pressure washer and some soup i got most of it off. ![]()
After washing it i noticed that the paint was not as bad as i thaught. It has a lil rust in places but its all fixable. I have also Stripped the interiour and cleaned it all out. i removed the roof lining and it was sick! gotta get new lining. i found sone water in the trunk after the wash but there are lots of spaces in the door and truck seals. I took of thoes god awful bumpers that stuck out like a foot form the body. It looks sooo much nicer now......
WELL ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCEIVE UPDATED MY PAGE BUT SINCE THEN I'VE FIXED THE DOOR LOKS THE WINDOWS(HAVING REMOVED ALL THE INTERIOUR PANNELS) AND CLEANED MOST OF IT OUT. ENGIN WIZE IVE DONE NOTHIN SPECIAL YET. I NEED TO GET NEW BUSSHINGS FOR THE GEAR LINKAGES AND I NEEED A NEW CLUCH CABLE FROM THE PEDAT TO THE CLUCH. I ALSO NEED A NEW EXAST AND MANIFOLD. IT ALL TAKES TIME. IVE BEEN THINKIN WHEELS AND I THAUGHT OF BUYING SOME BMW 3SERIES 14'S FOR IT I THINK THEYLL LOOK KOOL OTHER WIZE I STILL HAVENT GOT IT ON THE ROAD YET. REMOVED THE FRONT GRILL AND ALL THE LITES. IM RIGHT NOW TRYING TO REMOVE THE FRONT FENDERS BC I GOT SOME RUST ON THE INSIDE FRONT PANNELS BUT THEY ARNT COMMIN OFF TOO EASY .
