Thanks for checking out my Stang. I realize the automatic tranny is a hugh disadvantage in performance. I drove nothing but standards for 5 years and I can certainly tell the difference between my 2.3 automatic vs my older 2.3 manual (which was supposed to have less HP in the '89 model year vs. the 93 I have now) However; after I do the suspension and rear end, I am converting to a 5.0 set up. The tranny will need to be replaced at that momment, and I think I'm leaning towards a performance automatic tranny built with HP and torque in mind. Stock auto trannys suck balls; but with a brand new super sport tranny, I'll blow away most Stangs out there. I plan on spending more on this then any other single component in the upgrade. -I'm thinking around $4k or $5k. I just want an automatic for this car, my car is a daily driver and I get impatient in traffic if I have a stick. -I never want to be unhappy driving my Mustang when It's done. -I'm building the ultimate dream car for myself. -so the automatic stays with the stress-free, ultimate daily driver Mustang in mind. Your car's awesome, the color is definately different. I rarely like "newer" cars; but yours definately stands out above the rest. later, nicole
