Little bits here and there...

Well, some of the ICE is new - I switched to Alpine headunit and threw in a DSP. Now the system is full active 3-way (2-way component system in front + subwoofer in the back, all by Rainbow). I also added a 3 farad capacitor to get some extra kick for the amp.

Door panels got a slight makeover, I took away all the fur and replaced it with some thick black fabric which is mainly used on speaker boxes. That means, I've finally started to sort out the interior :)

Unfortunately, my car is currently sitting at the garage due to broken exhaust pipe.

New paintjob, rims and other stuff..
Ok, lots have changed since I last updated this page. I've got a new rear bumper and the whole car got new paint, Hot Pepper Red Pearl taken from Honda color charts. Also I've bought 16" Dezent rims and the exhaust has been done over once again, and it will change even more.

On the inside, I've bought a new headunit and a DSP. Next step is to rewire the front speakers to active setup so that I can get most out of my new DSP :)

What was new ages ago:
- Basecoat - paintjob for Kärkkäinen Cruising.

Fitting of the sideskirts in progress, almost there... Building up the trunk...
Yet another weekend spent cruising around in my old "proving grounds" and building up the trunk. This time I remade the battery compartment and equipped it with voltimeter. I also did some new wiring while I was at it. Next weekend I'll add a mains switch and probably ampere meter to the same place. I'll also try to finish the trunk then and start fitting of the sideskirts, which are on the way to me at the moment. You'll see them later ;) A nice little feature from my trunk setup - I've still got the spare tire and LOTS of tools in addition to subwoofer and battery there. You can see a glimpse of the original spare tire there :)
Anyway, at this moment my project seems to be proceeding quite fast, and I think I can get it to the paint shop pretty soon to fix all scratch marks some jealous people have made to my ride.. I'm not going to do much about the color, maybe minor candy twist into it, but that remainst to be seen - time is always an issue. HTS, here I come.

It's been a long time...
..since last update. Recently I bought -30mm Koni Sport Kit to this one. Much better to drive now. Still haven't got the time or money for the engine swap, but later this year there's going to be some modifications to the engine.

Mods that are ready or being made at the moment:
- Rainbow Hammer 12 subwoofer fitted in a decent enclosure.
- Wiring improvements
- Sound dampening in the trunk
- Some fur to the interior
