Hey i like the car! But I have some questions? I have an 85 daytona also with a blown engine and im having some trouble getting the engine out but the tranny wont seperate from the engine i have tried everything i can think of. Should i drop it out the bottom with tranny or try to pull it out the top with out the tranny? Im new at this engine pulling thing and would appreciate some advice. Email me at skateboarding4life23@hotmail.com . Thanks

Brandon

Good looking car. Sorry to here about the fire. Similar thing happened to my '84 once except it was from oil. I like how you have stuck with the Log intake. My 84 still has the log but it is intercooled. I'll be getting pics of it up as soon as I can get to it.

Is that a 523 transmission? The taillights on my 87 Shelby Z are the stock lenses with the red lens removed from the inside. Just heat the seal with a heat gun and pull them apart. You can break the red insert out.
