I also had an alarm installed about 6 months ago. It's a compustar 2-way FM alarm system with remote start. It's the only system that's designed to be used with a stick. When I take the key out of the ignition, it keeps running until I get out and close the door. The two way has a 1/2 mile range, so I can start my car from inside the housel if I wanted to.
