I've gotten into using fiberglass within the last year, and I've realized that you really can do anything with this stuff
Here's what I used,
it's really simple, but very messy.
This is how I made the shapes of the front end, I just used a Dremel tool and cut it to a shape of my own design and then used spacers that I made from wood and then fiberglassed it with cloth from underneath. I ended up using two coats of the cloth to make sure I wasn't going to have to do this again later.
The above are pics of the process of applying the "bondo" or body filler to smooth the look. I used this greenish colored filler first, because it is fiberglass reinforced, and has a more rigid durability, and then used a lightweight body filler on that once I got the shape about how I wanted it. It involves a lot of sanding, and it takes several layers before you get a perfectly smooth base, so sanding gets very old throughout the process.
I've finally finished the front end ( at least so far)

It's just primed for now, I'm holding off on paint until I've finished my entire exterior.
I know the grooves that I made look crooked, but they're not, they look that way because the hood is actually crooked.
