Well, I dynoed her this am, and the hp was 211.2@4200rpms, and the torque was 328.5 lb ft of torque@ 2700rpms. At first those #'s sound week, until you understand that tpi motors are tq monsters and the amount of miles I have on the original motor, but even more so that the bottom end was hurt and I didnt kow it. About 5 hours later, I was headed home and she started knockin, kickin, squealing, and the oil pressure dropped 15 lbs. I finally pulled over and pulled the dip stick and found glitter in the oil so it spun a rod bearing. So the motor officially died with 305, 231 miles @ 4:07pm on 05/29/2010, on the original motor! I think I got my $$ worth from Gm on the original motor. Now, its time to build a real torque monster. ;) Stay tuned... details coming.....

I bought this car in June 25, 1994 with 63,000 miles on the odometer. It now has 305,000 miles.Since then, it has been repainted once in 1996,4 bumper covers replaced, 4 windshields, 4 transmissions,"6" rear ends, lots of tires, and all on the original engine!!!
