This is my beater / daily driver. Its a '96 Ford Contour with the 2.5 liter Duratec V-6. It just turned 50k and runs pretty good, and gets 23mpg average on top of that. I couldn't beat it for the price I paid for it, $1.00. Ive thought of putting on some SVT contour ground effects but i dont really wanna dump any money into this car. I would like to get either some SVT contour or SVT focus wheels for the car along with better tires, the handling could use some improvement.
About a month after I got the car the waterpump went bad. Well, it didn't just go bad the plastic impeller broke into like 20 pieces. I tried to find a new waterpump with the metal impeller but I was in a hurry to get it fixed so i put another water pump on it to get me by until it breaks again. here is some pics of the carnage.
