Modifications under the bonnet include replacing the stock 543cc engine with an overbored 800cc, 33/36 DGV Weber, sports filter, Bosch GT coil and custom extractors running into a combination 2" to 1.75" exhaust system flowing through Redback components to a 3" tip. I have now decided to go turbo, so details on that will be up here soon.
On the suspension side, the ride height has been dropped by 2" with HR lowering blocks up the back, and King Springs at the pointy end. Handling is improved by KYB Excel struts up front with Gabriel VST self adjusting shocks on the rear. Completing the package is a set of custom swaybars to put the clamps on any bodyroll.
Rolling stock consists of 13x5" Toyo alloys wrapped in Hankook tyres, with stopping duties handled by DBA slotted rotors and Bendix Premium pads.
Interior styling has been spruced up by a set of Monza race recliner seats, plus an Autotechnica steering wheel for navigation. The dash has been replaced with one from a Suzuki Hatch, which has a digital cluster. Additional gauges comprise a SunPro tacho and oil pressure gauge.
Lighting up the cabin are several green neons.
The exterior has been hand filed and coated in a custom mix of green/gold, with the aerial and chrome roof rails shaved, and fitment of a set of custom side skirts. VT clear indicator repeaters were fitted at this time, along with upgraded H4 headlights.
