New paint and custom bodywork. 88 rear spoiler, 84 Shelby Charger airdam and front side skirts, 87 Daytona Z side skirts. Balck paint with original burgundy stripe on hood.

84/89 Shelby Turbo Z with some major upgrades. I like to be first on Race Day. I also like the tuneage turned up on the way to get there. $120,000 rice rockets stay to the right 'cause I'm goin' bye!
I bought an 84 Daytona Turbo Z for $300. It had a transaxle noise so I bought an 89 Shelby 'competition' Daytona from the junkyard for $450.

then I started combining the two with the best parts they had.

I also found a couple of Shelby Z's at the local Pick A Part and bought the ground effects and 3 pcs spoilers for $110.
