Fiberglassing Projects
This was a huge pile of fail lol. I hated how the doors turned out because they both aren't angled the same so they are symetrical at all. Just total crappy. I plan to redo them later. Fiberglassing is $$ and takes so much time, so don't expect me to update this part soon. But don't worry, I'll be back. I just need to learn more.
I'll have more fiberglassing projects underway when the Yukon gets out.
Bought these supplies from uscomposites.com

Stripped the drivers side door panel apart so I could get ready to fiberglass it.
I set my speaker ring using wooden dowels and then covered it up with speaker grill cloth, I then saturated it with epoxy resin.

After the step above, I sanded down the shine off from the resin and proceeded to lay down my fiberglass mat. I then brushed on more resin and got that soaked up real good, its pretty strong right now, but it needs about 1 or 2 more layers and then it should be good to go. After this step comes the body filler.

9/8/07 Update
I had a competition September 8th and felt like I needed my door panels. So I worked on the passengers side a little bit and got this far. They are usable, but they aren't strong enough to my liking. I used them at the show and got some comments on them. So that must mean I did something right. Anyways its nothing much, they are actually painted flat black right now and what you see is what they looked like before the show. I'll take more pictures later.

Thanks for looking. I'll try to update these asap. Also, I bought new component speakers. I bought some Memphis 15-MSYNC6. I like them a whole lot better than my CDT HD's.
