This is my 1968 142. It's been with me since 1995 and it's what I learned to drive on. It's been through too many evolutions to count, including a stint with a dual exhuast, seen here:

It started life with a B18/M40 combo. In 2003 that engine ate a piston on it's way to the ipd garage sale. Not pretty:

I acquired a 1975 B20 from a 240 and rebuilt that over the next year. It's first start-up was the night before the 2004 ipd sale. Needless to say there were too many little bugs to drive it up the next day.
Here's some shots of the engine for ya:

She's got an ipd header, Weber DGV carb, Crane ignition, and a factory "D" grind cam. Compression ratio on the B20 checked in at about 9:1, and it'll burn 87 octane no prob. Exhaust is whatever flavor of the week I happen to have clamped/welded/superglued in place. It changes frequently!

An M410 from a '71 1800E has been fitted utilizing a 240 turbo driveshaft and rear diff. flange, and fitting the original M40 flange to the M410.
I picked up a Grant steering wheel adaptor and mounted this mahagony wheel:

Much better than the monster original:

The front air dam is a mildly modified one off of a 740:

The wheels are 15x7 Prime 3-spokes. Originaly purchased in 1998 when they were still cool, and still cool to me.

Tires are currently Yoko Avid H-4's, 195/60 & 205/60's, the fronts very much in need of replacing!
Suspension consists of Volvo R-Sport shocks pn-552189 in the front,

KYB's in the rear, ipd springs, 520lbs. front & 125lbs. rear, an ipd 22mm front-only sway bar, all-not-so-new-now rubber bushings front and rear(replaced in '00). She's due for a new full set of poly bushings and Bilstien shocks for the rear.
Brakes have been replaced many times and are currently on a set of factory reman Girling calipers, new stock rubber lines, new master cyl., and factory "taxi" pads in the front, original rear ate calipers and rotors, and factory rear pads. Sufficient for 99% of my driving. An upgrade to 164 vented discs would be cool, who knows if it'll ever happen!
She's gone through a recent, temporary style change, with the addition of some black painted 240 steel wheels:

Enjoyed it for a while, went back to the chromies!
Jonny, aka greenteagod, provided me with this killer decal:

Here's the most current exterior pic I've got at the moment:

And this is the current state of the floorboards, awaiting some loving POR-15 treatment!

Please stay tuned! Hopefully more updates aren't far away!
Ok, project B21F+T has been started. Some of the initial parts I've collected and the '76 B21 still in the 244 are in the following pics:
