9-11-04 <--that's kind of depressing...
Anyway, this car is dead. it's been awhile since I've posted last, but now, it's done. Here it is now:
a quick tribute:
10-18-04 Update: Well, the rust is finally getting to it, can no longer use the stock jackpoints for fear of punching holes, have to use a floor jack in the middle. So, the loyale (a pic on page two), which is rust-free and has a pretty good spfi motor, will be getting the drivetrain out of the GL, along with a LSD rear, disc brakes in the back, bigger tires/wheels, and a few other goodies.
Oh yea, gave up on that POS deck, so I bought a nice Pioneer head unit, and the real dash kit so it looks nice, still no bass though, I'll have to do some more research on that.
here's the loyale, receding into the woods!
both cars, Gl on the left, loyale on the right. Oh yea, and the '64 ford f100 plow truck in the background
my engine compartment after I'm done with it. mmmmm.......MUD
and my decals
some pics of some fun in the mud
Added a Dual deck (cheapest mp3 cd deck we had at Best Buy). It doesn't really fit very well in the hole, but I did what I could
This failed to produce almost any bass, so with the help of a power inverter under the passenger seat, and a handfull of patch cords, added my Hartke Kickback bass amp to assist.
July 2004: More fun in the mud pics
August 2004: More Muddin' Fun
Origional page: Here's the GL, it's got Dual Range Four Wheel Drive, and a 5 Speed Manual. This thing should make for a great little offroad beast.
My Peeling Clearcoat
The HUGE engine, with enough leftover space for the spare tire in there too!
The Radio is not functional at this time, so a new one will be the first modifications
