Question: I have to admit that recently I've been entertaining thoughts about simply replacing damaged panels rather than fixing them (I am well aware this is not cost efficient). However, what to do?

Mazdaspeed short throw shifter is now in the car! I'll have a few pics of it (not that it really matters...it probably sits oh maybe a centimeter lower than stock if even but the throws are SO much shorter) I'm probably putting the MS-02s on this weekend and chances are I'm going to wrap them in either Toyo Proxes or Yokohama AVS Sports, more on that later. I've also decided my next upgrade is probably going to be a Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust.

Today, I ordered the Mazdaspeed short throw shifter from Corksport. Hooray for me.

Getting down to business...

1. For all you rim haters:

RELAX, your fears have been abated. I shelled out for a set of Mazdaspeed MS-02 rims, I'll have them on the car pretty soon as well as pics. I'm not sure what I'm going to wrap them in yet, but I've got time to figure that out. My Kumhos have been good to me, but I'm willing to take suggestions.

2. Misc. fixes:

I'm getting to working on fixing the small bits that I should've fixed ages ago. This includes the driver side window assembly and whatnot, so hopefully that'll go alright and I'll have pics of that up as well. I also still need to get some body work done, and remove that godawful crappy tint from the rear window.

3. Future plans:

Exhaust is a must. I'm thinking of either the Mazdaspeed Sports Tuned Muffler, the HKS Sports, or the APEX'i N1 exhaust. Again, input is more than welcome. In addition, I'm going to do more suspension work. Further into the future, I'm looking at bucket seats (or perhaps just one), a roll cage, and perhaps Mazdaspeed aero parts to bring the car's drag coefficient down even further.

I've been busy with school and helping my mate find a new car, not to mention working on my Corrado SLC, so expect the next major update in late February, and I'll do my best to keep things updated and interesting until then.
