This is my mercury cyclone gt from the wonderful year of 1970....The cyclone had this body only in 1970-71 and there is a total build of 16580. So this car is quite unusual... I know there are only 6 cyclone gt:s in sweden and two of them are 429" cars, I saw this car for the first time, two years ago. It was standing outside my friends garage and I think I checked out the car for about 10 minutes and in that time I did 3 or 4 laps around the car.... Then I throw up the door to the garage and looked who was there... It was a guy that I know a little bit... and I asked him about 100 questions, then I search the net for all the info I could get.... one year later i heard that he might sell the car... god damn!! in a hurry I went to the bank and get the financials done...a couple of days later the car was mine... I have not regreat it for one moment... I love this car!!
Nasty little front... or what do you think?? I think that Ford´s design crew must have been on drugs in the late 60´s and the early 70´s....how could they else design a front lik this... but I like it!!!
This is an early car with the build nr 357 (magnum...he he)It is a N code car= 429" 360hp and had a manual 4spd gearbox from the beginning, now there is a C6 transmission. The rear axle is a 9" LSD with 3.0 ratio.

You must admit that I have a nice looking BIG 429" engine that is blue printed and have a supercobrajet intake and a hotter camshaft, about 380hp....maybe more?

The car has bucket seats and houndteeth/black vinyl interior and has the extra set of gauges on the passenger side.
