well how about some backround info. i purchased my mx6 durring spring of 2003 for about $4000. not a bad deal until i found out that the previous owner was a freakin moron. Brakes were non-exsistant in the front so i replaced the rotors and the pads. the back pads replaced recently but squeak quite a bit: any suggestions for my delima? anyways back to the problems. oh yea- the idiot who owned it had that cadilac wreath thiny around the trunk key hole (last time i checked, mazdas diddnt come with cadliac emblems on them). tires- almost gone, so i shelled out money for some cheap replacements to hold me over for my future projects. the airbox was freakin dirty as hell so i replaced it with a cold air intake off of EBAY (my favorite one-stop shop lol). the tint was by far the crappiest job ive ever seen. i couldnt see out of the back windsheild until i scraped it off myself. well i think thats all that i really found wrong with the car.

well yesterday my car sprung a bad coolant leak after one of the oil cooler hoses exploded :(
i diddnt take pics of the damage cuz i was too pissed. i spent 4-5 hours trying to find away to get to where i could see the leak but it was coming form somewhere behind the crank pulley (which doesnt come out unless you pull out the WHOLE ENGINE). its currently in the shop gettin professional repairs. i miss my baby......

Good and Bad News
good news- problem found. waterpump, head gaskets, and sparkplug wires are getting replaced.
bad news- $1200 price tag for the whole operation.
more good news- the mechanic working on the car was a mazda specialist and he said that i had a great performance car and i could get offered around $5000 selling it (dont know about that figure tho)

100% right on my 1/4. I'll post the timeslip as soon as my camera is fixed. Get some new shoes on that Mazda and you'll be all good. Later
