The engine compartment

Since the car was a matching numbers fastback, I decided after 4 months of driving the car to opt out of the original engine and begin the 2 year process of rebuilding the car from ground up with a new 460+ hp motor. Well that new engine was a piece of crap. I paid 5300 for nothing except for hyper. pistons. He did not bore, hone or buy new parts for it. 73 miles later I found out this.

I asked around this time for a builder and what to put under the hood. I chose to go with www.adperforamce.com and bought their 347 Scat competition forged stroker kit, a few other high dollar items and found the best engine builder in the area. I'm so glad I did. I feel rest assured that this engine will out perform many others and be able to handle it's own. I went for MSD components, high dollar items including a Novi Paxton supercharger, link bar comp cams, pro mag roller rockers, main stud girdle and stud girdle for the heads, AFR 185 and custom components, total control products engine braces and custom made monte carlo bar, 650 mighty demon, edelbrock RPM, serpentine pulleys, Cobra oil pan and main stud girdle, flow kooler water pump, spal fan, ceramic coated tri y's, Cobra T5 tranny, coleman racing custom made aluminum driveline, hydraulic clutch with centerforce dual friction clutch, JMC Dual MC for 4 wheel disk brakes and TCP's power rack and pinion.

I chose to correct the cooling issue with aluminum radiator and built a custom fan shroud to attach the Spal electric fan

Paxton SC 306 digitally controlled...578 rwhp. I guess it was money well spent. Also, the battery had to relocated to the trunk since I have so much items stuffed into the engine bay.

Custom 9" rear end

This rear end was custom made by Scribnerwelding.com for me. I brought in a rusty 9". Bill cut the ends of custom milled a set of ends to it, moser axles, Mustang Cobra rear brakes with built in e brake and EBC yellow pads. 31 spline, 3.89 trac loc gearing
