PadsterTriumph's 1973 Triumph TR6
Engine Size:2.5 litre: straight 6,6 PadsterTriumph's 1973 Triumph TR6 Cylinder 74.7mm x 95mm 2498cc
Producing 180 bhp at 5500 rpm, these figures are for a standard production line model or stock model, with all approved mod?s its actually 250+ bhp at 5500 rpm. Max torque - 184lbs/ft at 3500 rpmPadsterTriumph's 1973 Triumph TR6

Suspension Details, Front: Independent by unequal length double wishbones, coil springs and telescopic dampers. Rack and pinion steering with aluminium mounting.
Rear: Independent rear suspension (IRS) by semi trailing arm coil springs and lever arm dampers, the suspension is as it would of been on a racing model during its hay day. Rear lowered to reduce negative camber.

Engine Modifications: fully race tuned, no cat, sports exhaust, the original ones did about 125, this one does about 135, overdrive so its got 6th and 7th gear, Lucas fuel injection, will annihilate allot of modern sports cars at acceleration, such as Toyota MR 2's, may be hard to believe because its old, but its quick! Over 250 bhp, engine has been modded to and exceeding 1970's racing standards, triple stromberg intake manifold, tripple stromberg ram air induction system, nylatron suspension bushings, a solid aluminium steering rack mount, vicous limited slip differential to a ratio of 4.08:1(gives faster acceleration), modified cam bearing and high performance valve springs used in conjunction with roller rockers (increases BhP and acceleration), GP3 chilled iron camshaft (downside is it revs abit higher, but increased Bhp and torque, doesn?t hang about during gear change), polished stainless steel radiator shroud, pressure release valve, Borg and berk clutch (I think, didn?t do the clutch myself) most of the newer performance parts were fitted by me, although I will admit to having help. More mod?s to come when cash becomes available.

nope standard tr6's are either 150 bhp or 180 bhp, depends on how tuned the engine has been, the beast is currently running at about 290+ although there are many problems with the engine because of this so work is still needed to make it run "right propa" (devon talk)
