This is the original color of the car. Surprisingly, being an '85, the paint is in good condition. With the paint being in the shape that it's in, I havn't worried too much on painting it right now. Painting will be the finishing touch. The engine and interior is where I like spending most of my time. When I do paint my car, I think I have my mind made up...black.

I pulled out the piece of shit fuel injected 305 and replaced it with a 350 four bolt main. Along with the engine swap, I also did a transmission conversion. I hate automatics, there is nothing like a standard. So I pulled out the automatic transmission and replaced it with a T5. As far as the engine goes, I have equipped it with Wiseco Pistons, Magnum Comp Cam Kit, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Holley Four Barrel 600 CFM Carb, Fel-Pro Gaskets, and to top it off a Proform Dress-up Kit. The next thing on the list for the engine is Hooker Headers and dumped dual exhaust, it might be a little illegal without any catalytic converters, but ah, who needs 'em. Besides, my car is already illegal. I have taken every bit of the smog pump shit off and removed the A.I.R. tubes. Speaking of things that you don't need, who needs A/C? Not me, I have taken all the A/C components off also. No compressor, no accumalator, nothing! What do you think windows are for?

The interior is pretty much stock. It is in good condition as well. You could say it's in great condition considering it's a 19 year old car. All I have added to the interior is a GT Grant Steering Wheel, oil pressure gauge, and a water temperature gauge. However, I have removed more from the interior than I have added. There has never been any stereo in my car besides the factory one, which sucks, so it's been taken out. I love the third generation firebirds, but not their consoles, so the console had to go. With no stereo or A/C, there's no sense in keeping that part of the interior either, so I took it out as well. If you look to the right of the fuel gauge you'll see four little gauges. Well, they're not gauges anymore, and there is a lot more than four of them, there's twelve. They were just gay warning lights like fasten your seatbelt and so forth, so they got taken out as well. The next thing on the list for the interior is all Auto Meter Gauges. When my gauges are done, those gay warning light spots will be gone, as if they were never there. Even though I'm going to have Auto Meter Gauges, I'm going to use the factory gauge lighting. It's the sweetest red glow.

Well thanks for taking the time to view what I done so far. I don't have very many pics right now because I just signed up for this web page. I will have a lot more pics and information later this week. Please let me know of any suggestions you might have and/or what you think of my car so far.

nice bird man. tryin to support TX thirdgens. so keep it up. i would say dont paint it black unless you plan on taking everything apart to paint the entire car black. its easier to buy a black car than switch colors. but hey its up to you. just my $.02 w/ paint. check out my 87 formula 350! rock on!

That color is soo shit hot, I had to have it as mine ;-), really, it's the same as mine. Find yourseld some T/A tail lights. their like factory blackouts & look uber sweet. Make sure that body is all nice & straight before hitting w/black, as that color will show all the body imperfections easily
